I’m Orçun, currently in the doctoral trenches at the Schulich School of Business - York University. I study stigma, disability, and consumer culture. Specifically, I study how markets help shape stigma and how stigma gets transformed into something shiny and consumable (spoiler: it's complicated). When I’m not doing that, I’m involved in other research projects and community organizing.
